Job Description:
We are looking for a Scientific Officer to work on a project sponsored by FSSAI. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of Dr. Komal Chauhan, Associate Professor, and will be responsible for carrying out research related to the project.
The ideal candidate must have a master’s degree in food science, nutrition, technology, management, or any related field, with a preference for a Ph.D. in food science and nutrition, food technology, or environmental sciences. Experience in Carbon Footprints will be an added advantage.

Qualification:
- Essential: Master’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Food Technology and Management, Process Food Engineering, Bioprocess and Food Engineering, Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences, or Food Supply Chain Management.
- Preferable: Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Process Food Engineering, Bioprocess and Food Engineering, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 40 years for males and Maximum 45 years for females (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Government rules).
Fellowship:
- Rs. 50,000/- + HRA (8%) per month
Location:
NIFTEM is located at Plot No. 97, Sector 56, HSIIDC Industrial Estate, Kundli, in the Sonipat district of Haryana.
