They are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an intern in the role of Food Technologist. This internship offers a unique opportunity for a candidate who possesses a strong foundation in food technology, a passion for continuous learning, and effective communication and management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of food production processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct research and analysis to support product development, formulation, and quality control initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support sensory evaluations and consumer testing, providing valuable insights for product refinement.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of accurate and detailed records, including laboratory reports, product specifications, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of food safety and quality assurance programs.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to prepare reports, analyze data, and create presentations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to ensure smooth collaboration and project execution.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of food technology principles, processes, and regulations.
- An avid learner with a hunger for staying updated on industry advancements and trends.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and apply knowledge effectively.
