Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Food Technologist located in Pune, India. The Food Technologist will be responsible for conducting sensory evaluation, implementing food technology best practices, performing laboratory skills, quality control, and research and development (R&D) in the food industry. The Food Technologist will also be responsible for complying with safety and regulatory standards when carrying out the laboratory and R&D work.
The person should be able to manage the production.
Qualifications
- Knowledge about production management.
- Experience working in a healthy snacks industry or dryfruit industry.
- Strong knowledge of sensory evaluation and quality control in the food industry
- Ability to apply laboratory skills, including safety, quality, and cleanliness protocols
- Experience working on research and development (R&D) projects in the food industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Experience working with food production machinery and equipment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or equivalent
- Experience in product development and innovation in the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of food regulations and standards of India is a plus
