The Senior Officer/Executive of Quality Assurance oversees all daily operations at the Mandideep plant. This includes monitoring QA parameters, managing shift activities, preparing for audits, maintaining documentation for Quality Management Systems, monitoring process parameters and product specifications, overseeing acceptance of raw materials and packaging materials, releasing finished goods, implementing food safety measures, training food handlers on GMP, and reporting monthly KPIs for Mandideep operations trials and implementations.

Experience
A minimum of 4–6 years of applicable experience in the quality or manufacturing department within a reputable food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities
Process Quality Control
- The tasks involved in this role include conducting periodic inspections and analyzing beverages, fruit drinks, juices, soymilks, ketchup, and instant tea and coffee premixes.
- This includes analyzing online blend samples and finished products for physicochemical and sensory parameters.
- Additionally, there is a need to perform periodic checks during packing operations and analyze finished goods in the warehouse, including first-pass and second-pass quality checks.
- The water treatment plant, specifically the coagulation water and RO water, also needs to be monitored and analyzed.
- It is important to verify quality and food safety records and monitor compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Customer complaints need to be analyzed, and root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) need to be implemented.
- Nonconformances observed should be reported on time, along with their resolution, using RCA and CAPA.
- Adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in blending and packing operations should be monitored.
- It is also necessary to understand and address production issues, guide the team in resolving operational issues, and take ownership of SAP release and data reporting for Hershey India production.
Routine Audits
- Perform weekly and monthly audits such as PHC, GMP, and Super Six.
- Supervise the completion of all internal audits at the Mandideep plant, including those for global and internal systems.
- Monitor and assess all audit documentation related to systems, including FFSC, QMS new standards, SOPs, and process change IQ/PQ/OQ, while also being aware of quality-related risks and hazards.
Training and development
- Assess training requirements for the plant-based on product and quality standards, and guide the team in developing their skills.
- Supervise internal training sessions to ensure they are completed on schedule.
- Organize regular training sessions for the team to review quality standards and guidelines, and evaluate the impact of training regularly.
Process Improvements
- Continuously monitor the market to stay updated on the latest trends in quality assurance and quality testing.
- Regularly assess our operations to identify areas for improvement and minimize customer complaints.
- Inform the supervisor about the advantages of implementing new methods.
- Delegate approved initiatives to the team and monitor their progress, actively engage in pilot projects and communicate the initiatives to other departments, and guide the team when necessary.

- Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Management Standards and their application in large-scale manufacturing and packing environments.
- Familiarity with FSSAI and other industry regulations. Skilled in using statistical tools.
