“Development of thermostable container for perishable food items” (CLP-0022)
The PROJECT ASSOCIATE LEVEL I position is part of the “Development of thermostable container for perishable food items” project. This project aims to develop a container that can withstand high temperatures and protect perishable food items from contamination. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in the intersection of food technology and materials science.
Duration
Initially for a period of 01 Year (project duration extendable to 03 Years) or till the project is over on a temporary contractual basis
The selected candidate will be hired on a temporary contractual basis initially for a period of one year, with the possibility of an extension of up to three years, depending on the duration of the project. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a research and development setting while working on an important project in the field of food technology.
Terms & Conditions for CFTRI Project Openings:
- Age Limit: Applicants should not be over 35 years of age as of 15-04-2023, which is the last date for receiving applications.
- Contractual Engagement: The engagement of the PROJECT ASSOCIATE LEVEL – I will be purely on a temporary basis for a period of 08 months or until the project’s completion, whichever is earlier. It is exclusively for the research work mentioned in the advertisement.
- No Claim for Regular Appointment: The engagement under the externally funded project does not guarantee any right or claim for regular appointment in CSIR-CFTRI against any post or under any legal conditions precedent.
- Performance Review: The performance of the Project Staff will be reviewed every six months. In case of unsatisfactory performance, the fellowship could be terminated with one month’s notice or one month’s stipend in lieu thereof.
- Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview.
- NOC for Current CSIR-CFTRI Employees: If the candidate is already working in CSIR-CFTRI, a “No objection certificate” from the PI is mandatory at the time of the interview.
