Tirupati Laddu contains Beef fat, fish oil confirms Lab report.

A test analysis has shown that the laddoos that are served as prasad to devotees at the Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh contain fish oil and animal fats.

The previous YSR Congress (YSRCP) government was accused by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of using animal fat and inferior ingredients to make Tirupati laddoo.

Currently, samples of the ghee used to make Tirupati laddoos were found to contain foreign fat, including palm oil, fish oil, beef tallow, and lard (obtained by rendering the fatty tissue of a pig).

This information was obtained from a report by NDDB CALF, a private laboratory focused on testing animal feed, milk, and milk products.

Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy, the spokesperson for the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP), published a copy of the study.

Chandrababu Naidu had claimed, citing a report, that non-vegetable materials were included in the prasad at the Tirupati temple, which receives 50,000–1 lakh daily visits from devotees.

To be tested, the ghee from Tirupati’s laddus was taken to a government laboratory in Gujarat.

This has sparked massive outrage and accusations of disrespecting religious sentiments.
