NIFTEM Thanjavur Recruitment for Young Scientist – I / Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contract basis. They are inviting online applications from candidates who are bright, dynamic, and highly motivated, and who meet the necessary eligibility criteria.

Vacancy Details

Age Limit

Young Scientist-1/JRF: 35 Years of Men and 40 years of women

Age limit for as on date of interview.

Application Fees

Rs 500/- (SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees)

Tenure of Project

• The tenure will be for a minimum of six months or until the project is completed, whichever comes first.
• The tenure will be renewed every six months based on performance.
• The selected candidate will be required to work six days a week, excluding the second Saturday and government holidays.

Commencement of online application is from 19th June 2024 at 10 AM (IST)

The last date for submission of online application is 4th July 2024 at 6 PM (IST)

The date of the Interview is on 9th July 2024 @ 9:30 AM

How to apply

• Before applying for the specific post, the applicant must ensure that they meet all eligibility conditions as outlined in the prescribed qualifications and experience requirements.
• Applicants are required to submit their applications solely through the online application form provided on the institute’s website, www.niftem-t.ac.in.
• Any offline applications sent directly to the institute will not be considered.
• The candidate is required to submit digital copies (in PDF format) of all certificates and relevant documents to support their claims in the online application form as needed.
• For publications, the first page must be uploaded; otherwise, the publication will not be taken into consideration.
• After completing the online application, candidates are required to sign the hard copy of the downloaded application.
• The signed application form, self-attested copies of supporting documents, and a copy of the e-receipt generated in SBI Collect must be scanned as a single PDF file.
• The scanned PDF file should be sent to the email address projectrecruitment@iifpt.edu.in within three days from the last date of online submission.
• The institute has the authority to modify, reschedule, cancel, suspend, or withdraw the recruitment process without providing any explanation.
• The institute’s decision will be considered final, and no appeals will be considered.
• Additionally, the institute reserves the right to withdraw any advertised position at any time without justification.

Selection Process

• Only candidates who are eligible and shortlisted will be invited for a written examination, which will be followed by an interview.
• Both the written examination and interview will be conducted in person at the NIFTEM Thanjavur main campus.
• The shortlisted candidates will also receive an email notification regarding the date and time of the written exam and interview.
• All communication with the candidates will be done through email, and if necessary, NIFTEM Thanjavur may request additional documents even after this date.
