Instructions
- Age limit for as of the date of Interview – RA/SRF/Project Associate-I & PA: 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
- Application Fee – Rs.500/- (SC/ST/PWD/ Women candidates are free from payment of fee)
- Tenure of the projects – For RA/SRF/Project Associate – I & PA, the initial tenure is set for six months or until the project period is finished, whichever comes first. Subsequent renewable will be based on performance and will occur every six months.
- Chosen candidates will be required to work for six days per week, except for the second Saturday and Government holidays.
- It is the responsibility of the applicant to confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements, including qualifications and experience, before applying for the designated position.
- Applicants are required to use the online application form, which can be found on the official Institute website at www.niftem-t.ac.in.
- Please note that any applications sent through offline methods directly to the Institute will not be accepted.
- Candidates must also ensure that all necessary certificates and documents are uploaded in PDF format with their online application.
- For publications, please make sure to upload the first page as well, as any missing pages will result in those publications not being considered.
- After the successful submission of the online application, the candidates are instructed to sign the hard copy of the downloaded application. The signed application form, self-attested copies of supporting documents, and copy of e-receipt generated in SBI collect are to be scanned as a single PDF file.
- The scanned PDF file has to be sent to the mail ID: projectrecruitment@iifpt.edu.in within THREE days from the last date of online submission.
- The Institute maintains the right to revise, reschedule, cancel, suspend, or withdraw the recruitment process at its discretion. No reason for such actions will be provided. The decision of the Institute is deemed final and no further appeals will be considered. Additionally, the Institute retains the right to withdraw any advertised positions without explanation at any time.
Selection Process
- Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for a written exam and interview at NIFTEM – Thanjavur main campus.
- Further instructions regarding the date and time of the written exam and interview will be communicated via email to the eligible candidates.
- All correspondence with the candidates will be conducted through email.
- NIFTEM – Thanjavur reserves the right to request additional documents if necessary, even after the specific date.
Important Dates
- The starting date of the online application is 16th March 2024 at 10:00 AM (IST)
- The last date for submission of online applications is 30th March 2024 at 6.00 PM (IST)
- The date of Interview is 08.04.2024 at 9.30 AM
