NIFTEM-K has opened a position for a Junior Research Fellow on a Contract Basis. NIFTEM will actively assist in establishing food standards, supporting business incubation, and facilitating knowledge sharing. It will serve as a leading institution in these areas.
They are seeking applications for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contract basis for the externally-funded CRO project at NIFTEM, Kundli.

Duration – 1 Year (12 Months)
Salary Per Month – ₹35,000 + 9% HRA
Qualifications
B.E/B. Tech/B.Sc. in Food Technology/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Nutrition /Food engineering
AND
M.E/M. Tech/M.Sc. in Food Technology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Nutrition/ Food Engineering/ Printing and Packaging Technology and associated courses. Selected
through a process described through any one of the following:
a) Selected through National Eligibility Tests CSIR/UGC NET (including
Lectureship) and GATE.
OR
b) Selected through National Level Examinations conducted by Central
Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable
Candidates who possess knowledge and experience in Microbiology, Food processing and preservation, Packaging, Food Safety, Toxicology, and handling analytical equipment.
Additionally, they are looking for individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment and motivation to pursue research in these subject areas, as well as having excellent communication skills.
General Information
Candidates who are short-listed will be contacted for an interview.
No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided to candidates for attending the interview.
The date and time of the interview will be communicated to candidates via email.
Candidates must bring their original certificates and other necessary documents to the interview.
The selected candidate may also be eligible to enroll in the Ph.D. program at NIFTEM-K according to the eligibility and selection process.
This position is temporary and will last for a maximum of 1 year with no possibility of extension.
