National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is the first Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, established in India on 18th February 2010. The institute aims at catalysing the transformation of Agri-food sector in India. The institute has the vision to be a nodal organization for knowledge generation and translational science leading to value-added products based on Agri-Food biotech innovations. The main research focus of NABI is to harness biotechnological tools in the area of Agriculture Biotechnology, Food and Nutritional Biotechnology so as to provide sustainable and novel solutions towards quality food and nutrition.
Activities undertaken at NABI under different areas includes,

- Meeting and Courses and

SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER
Job description :- The Senior Technical Officer will be responsible for running and maintenance of all the instruments at the Central Instrumentation Facilities of the institute.
No. of vacancy :- UR-01
Age limit :- 35 years
Educational qualification :- BVSc/BTech/BE(Biotechnology/Instrumentation/Food Technology) OR equivalent with 04 years of relevant experience OR MVSc/MTech/ME in (Biotechnology/Instrumentation/F
ood Technology/Food and Nutrition) with 02 years of relevant experience.

TECHNICAL OFFICER
Job description :- The Technical officer will be responsible for running and maintaining Analytical Instruments including mass spectrometry equipments. This position requires strong team working skills. All
duties and responsibilities will be performed according to laboratory guidelines and procedures and any
other work assigned by the competent authority from time to time.

SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTENT
Job description :- The Senior Technical Assistant will be responsible for running and maintaining of NGS
Platforms, Microscopy platforms etc. This position requires strong team working skills. All duties and
responsibilities will be performed according to laboratory guidelines and procedures and any other work assigned by the competent authority from time to time.
No. of vacancy :- UR-01, EWS-01
Age limit :- 30 years
Educational qualification :- BVSc/ B Tech / MSc / B Pharma in Biotechnology/ Food and Nutritional Sciences/ Technology/ Instrumentation/ Agricultural Biotechnology OR equivalent qualification with 02 years of relevant experience.
