Mondelez launched a Biscuit and Baked Snacks Lab and Innovation Kitchen in Singapore

Mondelez International, a leading American company specializing in snacks and beverages, has recently inaugurated its Regional Biscuit and Baked Snacks Lab and Innovation Kitchen in Singapore.

Mondelez has invested $5 million in the facility, which the company has described as a strategic center of excellence and the regional hub that will lead creative development and innovation in the biscuits and baked snacks category.

The event was graced by the presence of Chan Ih-Ming, executive vice president of the Singapore Economic Development Board, chargé d’affaires Casey Mace, Deputy Chief of Mission for the US Embassy in Singapore, Deepak Iyer, executive vice president and president for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) at Mondelez, and Marco Michielsen, research and development lead for Southeast Asia and vice president of biscuits and baked snacks for AMEA at Mondelez.

Mondelez aims to speed up its mission of creating the perfect snack for every occasion with the new lab and innovation kitchen.

The company intends to focus on developing products that promote portion control and careful gratification, as well as exploring new flavors and product formats.

We are aware of promoting a collaborative environment where creative ideas can develop and lead to the creation of new innovative products for our consumers.

This expansion strengthens the capabilities of our Singapore Technical Centre and demonstrates our commitment to the country, which serves as the headquarters for our Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa business.
