How to Become a FOSTAC Trainer

FSSAI Training Division – FoSTaC announced the Training of Trainers (TOT) program to become a FOSTAC Trainer in March 2024.

Applicants who are interested in the TOT program can submit their applications through the provided link in the calendar. It is important to note that only candidates who are shortlisted will be eligible to participate in the TOT Program, and they will receive notification regarding the program details via their registered email.

Eligibility Criteria 

Fees

1. From this calendar onwards, fees will be charged for appearing in the TOT program. The fees are Rs. 5000/- plus 18% GST per TOT program per person. The paid fees will not be refunded in any condition. In addition, in any case, fees paid for a particular course cannot be adjusted for any other course in case of failure in the TOT program. However, if any TOT program gets cancelled, then the fees paid will be refunded in the source amount.
2. The fees will only be charged to the participants who have been shortlisted. There are no fees required for the application for the TOT program.
3. The participants will be allowed to attend the TOT course after they have been shortlisted, made the payment, and submitted the proof through email to fostac@fssai.gov.in.
4. The intimation regarding the shortlisting will be sent to the registered email ID of the participants in due course time. The payment link or payment mode will be shared with the shortlisted participants through the official email ID fostac@fssai.gov.in.
5. The payment of fees should be made within 3 days of receiving the shortlisting email. If a shortlisted candidate in a particular course does not attend the respective TOT course on the confirmed date, no paid fees will be refunded.

Seat Capacity 

1. A maximum of 30 participants will be allowed in a TOT course. A minimum of 10 shortlisted participants is required for conducting the TOT program. If this minimum batch size is not available, the scheduled TOT program may be cancelled at the discretion of FSSAI.
2. The link may be closed before the last date mentioned above if a sufficient number of eligible applications are received.

Training Calendar

The Training Division of FSSAI has arranged the Training of Trainers (TOT) program for different courses as part of the FoSTaC initiative. Those who are interested can apply for the program by using the registration link mentioned in the table below. It is important to note that only applications submitted through the link provided in the calendar will be taken into consideration.

*The training venue address will be intimated to the shortlisted participants one week before the training program.

Note

1. Merely attending a TOT program does not make any participant eligible to be empanelled as a trainer under the FoSTaC Program.
2. During the TOT, only a brief training on the subject topic and trainer attributes will be provided through the empanelled faculties.
3. For inquiries about the training program, kindly reach out via email with the subject line “Training on (Name of the course) To be held on (Date of training) in (Location of training)”.
4. Before applying for any TOT program, please review the eligibility criteria provided on the respective applying course link.
5. The Training division retains the right to cancel any TOT program at any time.
