The Food and Drugs Administration Department of the Government of Haryana is hiring Food Safety Officers (FSO) (Group-B) according to the most recent notice from the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC).

The following information relates to the HPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment 2022 are given below :-

Name of the position :- Food safety officer
Number of vacancy :- 41 (UR-26, SC-8, BCA-4, BCB-1, EWS-2)
Educational qualification :- (i) A degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or degree in Medicine from a recognized university
(ii) Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric or Hindi as one of the subjects in Higher Education.
(iii) The selected candidates will have to successfully complete training as specified by the Food Authority in a recognized institute or Institution approved for the purpose and only those who will complete the training
will be appointed as Food Safety Officer.
Age limit :- not less than 21 years and not more than 42 years on 01-08-2022.
Application fees :- Rs.1000/- ( Rs.250/- for women candidates and SC/ BC-A/ BC-B /ESM category)
Salary :- Rs. 9300- 34800/- (4200 Grade Pay)
