GKCIET (Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology) has an open position for the JRF in the lab. Online applications are being accepted for the following position in a time-sensitive research project conducted by the Department of Food Processing Technology at this institute.

Vacancy Details

Name of the temporary assignment – Junior research fellow

Post – 1 (One)

Name of the temporary research project – Design and Development of extrusion-based pilot scale continuous process technology for jaggery making.

PI – Dr. Amit Baran Das

Sponsoring Agency – Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India

Salary – Rs. 37,000

HRA/Accommodation – HRA as per institute rule. The selected candidate is also eligible for an on-campus hostel and mess facility. Subject to availability.

Tenure – 24 months

Qualification

Food Engineering/Food Technology or M. Tech in allied above-mentioned disciplines.

At least 60% in the last qualifying degree is essential.

Experience

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software.

Knowledge of HPLC, GC, and Rheometer.

Relaxation up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped / Visually Handicapped and female applicant
