Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani (VNMKV) is released notification on 2/11/2023 for hiring food technology Young Professional.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of “Young Professional — II” purely on temporary basis till 31st March 2024 in the research project on “Network Project on Harvesting, Processing and Value Addition of Natural Resins and Gums” at College of Food Technology, VNMKV, Parbhani.
Candidates are herby informed to submit the application (prescribed format enclosed herewith) on or before 09.11.2023 (during office hours till 5.30 pm) in the office of Principal Investigator, Network Project on Harvesting, Processing and Value Addition of Natural Resins and Gums” at College of Food Technology, VNMKV, Parbhani along with Bio-data and necessary certificates.

Qualification for Young Professional
Essential qualification
B. Tech (Food Technology) 4 years degree and Master Degree in relevant subject (Food Technology) from recognized SAUs Desirable qualification:
Preference will be given to candidate having
Ph.D. Degree in relevant subject (Food Technology). Two research papers published in NAAS rated journals. Research experience in field of relevant discipline Knowledge of statical analysis of data, interpretation of results, report writing and computer application etc.
Pay scale for food technology Young Professional
Consolidated emoluments of Rs. 35,000/- per month (other emolument as per ICAR, New Delhi guidelines)

The minimum age under Young Professional — II (YP-II) will be 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.

Mode of Selection: Through interview by selection committee.
Date of Interview : Interview date will be communicated in due course of time.

Terms and Conditions
l. The candidate should not be registered as student of any university/institute.
2. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis and if he/she will fail to satisfy work of NPHPVA of NRG project, he/she will be discontinued without any prior notice.
3. The selected candidate has to join within seven working days after receipt of appointment order under Principal Investigator, “Network Project on Harvesting, Processing and Value Addition of Natural Resins and Gums” (NPHPVA of NRG),College of Food Technology, VNMKV, Parbhani, failing which the order shall be treated as cancelled.
4. The selected candidate has to submit the undertaking on Rs. 100 bond paper for accepting all the terms and conditions prescribed for the job.
5. Candidate will not leave the project in the middle of his/her tenure. If he/she intends to do so he/she has to give one month advance notice in writing otherwise he/she will have to deposit the amount of one month’s salary.
6. The candidate has to work anywhere in the jurisdiction of VNMKV as when the need required._ The decision of the Pl of the project will be final and binding in all respects.
7. In case of more number of applications, candidates will be shortlisted on merit basis based on academic performance/publications/experience etc. Shortlisted candidate will be interviewed by the selection committee.
8. The powers to accept or reject any application are reserved with Principal Investigator, “Network Project on Harvesting, Processing and Value Addition of Natural Resins and Gums” College of Food Technology, VNMKV, Parbhani.
9. Candidate must submit relevant proofs of their age, qualifications, experience etc along with the application and must produce all original documents for verification at the time of interview.
10. The candidate will have no claim for his/her continuation of services as well as claim for appointment on regular establishment in the services of VNMKV, Parbhani.

12. The services of Young Professional II will only continue depending upon the availability of funds and continuation of the project. The eligible candidate should appear for Interview along with their bio-data.
13. TA or DA will not be paid to the candidate appearing for interview.
