CSIR CFTRI is hiring for PROJECT ASSOCIATE LEVEL-I at Mysuru, Karnataka. This is 1-year contract-based job for 1 year. If you performed well then organisations will extend the period. Please find all the information given below.

Educational Qualification

M.Sc. in Food Technology/ Food Science & Nutrition / Chemistry or B.E. / B. Tech in Food Science & Technology / Chemical Engineering (Minimum 55% Marks).

Duration

Initially for a period of 01 Year, extendable based on performance or till the project is over on a temporary contractual basis. It will be extend if you do good at the job.

Project

Carry out R& D activities on “Development and Characterization of coconut oil and bioactive compound enriched edible oleogel as a shortening alternate to bakery fats” (GAP-620) tenable at the Department of Flour Milling, Baking & Confectionery Technology CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, Karnataka.

Salary

1. Rs.31,000/- per month plus HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or, GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
2. Rs.25,000/- per month plus HRA for others who do not fall under (1) above.

Terms and conditions 

1. Candidates should not have exceeded 35 years of age as on 21-07-2022 i.e. the last date of receiving the applications.
2. The engagement of PROJECT ASSOCIATE LEVEL-I is exclusively for the above-mentioned research work.
3. The engagement will be contractual and purely on temporary basis for a period of one year, extendable based on performance or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
4. The engagement under the externally funded project does not confer any right / claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR-CFTRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent.
5. Performance of the Project Staff will be reviewed every six months. In case the performance is not satisfactory, the engagement could be terminated with one month’s notice or one month’s stipend in lieu thereof.
6. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview.
7. If already the candidate is working in CSIR-CFTRI “No objection certificate” from the PI is mandatory at the time of interview.

Step 6 : After filling information candidate can preview and verify the entire application form before finally clicking SUBMIT APPLICATION button.

Step 7 : Please note application form details can’t be changed or edited after the final submission. Please ensure that all the details are checked before clicking the OK button.

Step 8 : Upon successful submission of Online Application Form, an “Application No.” is generated.

Step 9 : Candidates should keep a copy of the application print-out for their record.
