Packaging Supervisor
The Packaging supervisor plays a crucial role in the dairy production process by overseeing the cutting, drying, and handling of dairy products. This role requires expertise in maintaining specific temperature and humidity conditions for product drying, ensuring compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FIFO (First-In, First-Out), and efficient product dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
Cutting and Drying:
Supervise and lead a team responsible for cutting dairy products into specified sizes.
Monitor and control the drying process, ensuring that the product remains at the required temperature and humidity levels for the prescribed duration
Maintain product quality and safety during the drying process.
Temperature and Humidity Control:
Monitor and adjust temperature and humidity control systems as needed to maintain optimal conditions for product drying.
Ensure that equipment, such as drying chambers and humidity sensors, is functioning correctly.
GMP Compliance:
Enforce and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain product hygiene, quality, and safety.
Train and guide staff on GMP procedures and standards.
FIFO (First-In, First-Out):
Implement and enforce FIFO principles for product storage and retrieval.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure that older products are used or dispatched before newer ones.
Product Movement:
Supervise the movement of products within the facility, ensuring that they are handled and stored according to GMP and FIFO guidelines.
Oversee product transfers between departments and storage areas.
Dispatch and Distribution.
Maintain records of dispatch activities.
Product Knowledge:
Possess a solid understanding of dairy product behavior, including factors that affect quality, texture, and shelf life.
Identify and address issues that may arise during the cutting and drying process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology/B.sc
Knowledge of temperature and humidity control systems in food production.
Familiarity with GMP and food safety regulations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on product quality and safety.
Working Conditions:
The Product Cutting and Drying Supervisor may work in an environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.

Key Responsibilities:
Shift Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of production staff during the designated shift.
- Plan, organize, and schedule daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
Safety and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with all relevant industry regulations and standards related to dairy production.
Equipment Maintenance:

- Proven experience in dairy production, with at least 1 TO 2 years in a dairy production
- Knowledge of dairy processing equipment and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of food safety and quality control standards.
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting.
Working Conditions:

Senior Quality Analyst
The Candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all activities for the Quality function within the plant. He will develop and implement effective quality and food safety systems. He will be responsible for monitoring product and process activities including plant sanitation and good manufacturing practices to ensure conformance to global regulatory standards. Incumbent will track trends, develop preventative systems and solutions, and take appropriate corrective actions as necessary when issues arise.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement and maintain food safety & quality assurance programs. Develop and lead implementation of technical plans, clearly defining the critical issues and approach to be used in resolving food safety issues.
Will ensure that facility and products meet and maintain all required company, customer and regulatory guidelines.
Will lead and participate in all regulatory, third party and customer audits and inspection.
Will monitor plant sanitation and good manufacturing practices daily so that high standards of sanitation are maintained. Will work with Head of Production or designate to resolve issues.
Will evaluate daily production samples to ensure that products meet food safety & quality standards.
Will lead consumer and customer complaint follow-up process for the facility.
Will monitor incoming raw materials to ensure that they meet specifications and works with suppliers and corporate purchasing department for issue resolution.
Will conduct fortnightly plant and inventory inspections and share the report with the management.
Will coach and partner with direct reports (super to effectively manage performance. Communicates company and cascading goals and assists in establishing goals that align with department and company goals. Provides on-going performance feedback following
Performance Management process. Actively works with direct reports to cultivate
capabilities and utilize strengths.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology or related curriculum and 5-6 years of quality assurance and manufacturing experience in the food or dairy industry with at least 2 of those years in a management role.
Or 9-10 years of quality assurance and manufacturing experience in the food or dairy industry with at least 2 of those years in a management role.
Dairy manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge of Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO), state and federal regulations.
Advanced knowledge of quality assurance processes and methods, preferably in a dairy or food industry setting
Familiarity with dairy manufacturing and microbiology
Analytical ability and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of fundamental quantitative analysis and statistical methods
Technical writing skills to create policy documents and audit reports
