MDH, a top spice brand, encouraged consumers on Saturday that its products are completely safe and denied the claims made by food regulators in Hong Kong and Singapore regarding the presence of certain pesticides in some products.

The spice manufacturer’s announcement followed the recent bans imposed by Hong Kong and Singapore on the sale of two Indian spice brands, MDH and Everest. These countries supposed the detection of the carcinogenic pesticide ethylene oxide in various spice blends.
