Stealth F&B Brand is looking for an experienced and innovative Pet Food Technologist Head to lead their team. As a Pet Food Technologist Head, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new pet food products.
Responsibilities
A. Develop and implement new pet food products that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of pets:
- Conduct research and analysis of market trends, customer preferences, and pet nutrition to develop new pet food products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure that new products meet customer needs and preferences.
- Ensure that new products meet regulatory requirements and food safety standards.
B. Ensure all pet food products meet regulatory requirements and food safety standards:
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and food safety standards related to pet food products.
- Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and food safety standards.
- Ensure that the team of pet food technologists is trained to comply with regulatory requirements and food safety standards.
C. Manage a team of pet food technologists, providing guidance, support, and training as needed:
- Hire and train new team members as needed.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to team members to ensure that they are meeting job requirements and expectations.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
D. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product support:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop product positioning, pricing, and promotion strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and support product launches.
- Work with the operations team to ensure that production processes are optimized for product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
E. Stay up-to-date with pet food industry trends, research, and technologies to identify new opportunities for product innovation:
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to stay up-to-date with pet food industry trends.
- Read industry publications and research reports to stay informed about new research and technologies.
- Collaborate with other professionals in the field to share knowledge and identify new opportunities for product innovation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 3-4 years) in pet food formulation and product development, preferably in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of animal nutrition, ingredient functionality, and food processing techniques, with a focus on pet food products.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pet food manufacturing and labeling.
- Passion for pets, a deep understanding of the pet food market, and a commitment to delivering high-quality and nutritious products.
