General Instructions
1. The Positions are purely on Contract basis initially for one semester and extendable as per requirement of the Institute.
2. Interested candidates need to send duly filled Application Form along with self-attested documents to the E mail ID of NIFTEM upto 06/02/2023 till 05.00 PM.
3. Walk-in-Interview is scheduled on 09/02/2023, Thursday, from 10.00 AM onwards at NIFTEM for contractual positions at Deptt. of Food Engineering. Candidates should report at NIFTEM between 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM for the interview along with relevant documents. No correspondence regarding consideration of late attendance will be entertained.
4. Walk-in-Interview is scheduled on 10/02/2023, Friday, from 10.00 AM onwards at NIFTEM for contractual positions at Deptt. of Food Business Management & Entrepreneurship Development. Candidates should report at NIFTEM between 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM for the interview along with relevant
documents. No correspondence regarding consideration of late attendance will be entertained.
5. Applicants are requested to bring copies of all certificates, mark sheets, evidence of teaching, research, Ph.D., NET certificates, copies of reprints of published articles, certificate containing the record of date of birth etc. NIFTEM shall not entertain any correspondence in case of incomplete information and evidences.
6. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to attend Walk-in-interview. The eligibility of the candidates for the interview will be determined on the basis of screening of the Application Form, API Score Form and prescribed
qualifications/experience/publications/ all relevant documents etc. Short-listing of candidates will be done as per Table-3A in Appendix-II of UGC Regulations, 2018 and the selections shall be only on the performance in the interview. The weightage of 100% in the interview be based on the following criteria :-
A. Domain knowledge – 40%
B. Communication Skills – 30%
C. Experience – 30%
7. NIFTEM reserves the right Not to fill up any of the advertised position(s)/modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate(s) at any stage in the process of selection.

- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phill./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.
