A sister concern unit of Dukes India is looking for a qualified, experienced, and result driven QA/QC Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all quality related functions to ensure that the company delivers products that meet regulatory standards, customer expectations, and internal quality benchmarks. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, industry experience, and the ability to guide teams in maintaining high quality and food safety standards.
Position Details
- Job Title: QA/QC Manager
- Experience Required: 10–15 years
- Industry: FMCG (Preference for candidates with experience in the chocolate and biscuit industry)
- Location: Katedhan, Hyderabad
- Salary: As per industry standards
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance (QA) – Systems and Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) as per FMCG standards.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and documents.
- Conduct supplier audits and monitor raw material quality.
- Lead internal audits and assist during external regulatory inspections.
2. Quality Control (QC) – Testing and Verification
- Oversee QC laboratory operations, including physical, chemical, and microbiological tests.
- Review and approve Certificates of Analysis (COA) and documents related to batch release.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Investigate non-conformities and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
3. Product Safety and Compliance
- Ensure products comply with legal and safety regulations, including proper labelling.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement food safety plans.
- Monitor plant hygiene, sanitation procedures, allergen controls, and contamination prevention.
- Implement food defence strategies.
4. Team Leadership and Training
- Lead, mentor, and guide the QA/QC team including chemists, supervisors, and inspectors.
- Conduct training programs on GMP, HACCP, hygiene, and quality systems.
- Support coordination between production, procurement, logistics, and R&D teams.
