Essential Qualifications
MTech in Food Engg/Post harvest Engg/Food Tech with minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.0 (or 60% aggregate). Successful score in GATE/NET exam is preferred.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for applying for the award of project position shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of the case of OBC candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/ PWD and Non-creamy candidates). Upper age limit shall be reckoned there of the as on the last receipt it of applications.
Experience/ Software/ Skillset
Prior research experience or knowledge in the field of machine design, auto CAD, CATIA, SOLIDWORK but not mandatory. Hand-on experience handling SEM, TEN, XRD, FTIR etc. would be an added advantage.
Job Description
To carry out research work related to the project and to continue Ph.D. at NIT Rourkela on the topic of this project work.
General Information
- The period of experience in a discipline/area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications for that position.
- Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project. Selection/Joining will be cancelled in case of any suppression of information/document submitted
