Essential Qualifications
B. Tech (Food Engineering/ Technology/ post-harvest Engg) or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing off NET/GATE test is compulsory.
Desirable Qualifications: M.Tech. In Food Engineering/ Technology/ Post Harvest Engineering with minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.0 (or 60% aggregate) with NET/GATE qualification.
Candidates with prior research experience in machine design and microbial analysis. However, it is not mandatory.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for applying for the award of project position shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of the case of OBC candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/PWD and Non-creamy candidates). Upper age limit shall be reckoned there of the as on the last receipt it of applications.

Job Description
