The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM-Kundli), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, has invited applications for the post of Project Fellow in the Department of Food Engineering (FE). The position is purely contractual.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
Candidates must have any of the following degrees with minimum 60% marks:
- Bachelor’s Degree (3/4/5 years),
OR
- Master’s Degree in the relevant areas such as process and food engineering, food technology, food science & technology, food technology management, food process engineering management
Desirable Skills
- Research experience
- Good communication skills
Age Limit
- Maximum 30 years
- Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India rules.
Salary & Duration
- Monthly Stipend: ₹37,000 + 10% HRA
- Duration: 6 months
- May be extended for an additional 3 months based on performance.
Job Responsibilities
The selected Project Fellow will be involved in research and technical activities, including:
- Planning and conducting experiments
- Assisting in development of processing machinery and technologies
- Collecting, cleaning, and managing research data
- Checking and correcting data errors
- Using software tools for data analysis and reporting
- Preparing and storing research reports
- Responding to research queries and retrieving relevant information
- Ensuring proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Following data integrity, safety, and security protocols
