National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur (NIFTEM-T) inviting Applications for DST-SERB- Sponsored Accelerate Vigyan -Training and Skill Internship (Vritika) on Sensory Analysis and Consumer Research in New Product Development

Eligibility

Students of M Tech. /M.Sc. /Ph.D. with specialization in Food and Process Engineering/Food Technology/Post-Harvest Technology/ Processing & Food Engg. / Food Science and Technology/ Food Science/ Diary Engineering and other relevant programs are eligible to apply.

Terms and conditions 

  1. The selected interns are required to attend the programme physically
  2. The interns are expected to work on the assignments assigned by the supervisors/event organizer
  3. Training report to be prepared and submitted on the day of completion of internship.
  4. The IPR of the research work will be reserved by the institute which cannot be used by the intern without permission of the concened authority.
  5. Food and accommodation will be provided to the selected candidates in the institute hostel/trainees hostel
  6. The selected participants are eligible for TA (Shortest route sleeper class train fair) reimbursement on submission of tickets, as per the norms.
  7. No stipend will be provided for the internship.
  8. Completion and submission of reports within the stipulated time and 100% attendance are mandated for issuing certificate.
  9. The intern should be abide by the rules and regulations of the institution and laboratory protocols.

  3. The selection of interns is based on the recommendations of the duly constituted Selection Committee of the host institute.
  4. The selection is entirely based on the sole discretion of the selection committee
  5. Only selected candidates will be informed by email, therefore the candidates must provide valid E-mail IDs while doing the online registration.
  6. The selected candidates will have to acknowledge and accept the offer by email within 48 hrs, failing which the waiting listed candidates shall be accommodated.
