Today, FSSAI extends a warm welcome to Ms. Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Ms Patel was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh in 1981 and has been serving as the Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry since 2021.
She has been serving as the representative of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh since 2014. Additionally, she has been the president of the Apan Dal (Soneylal) party since 2016.
From 2016 to 2019, Ms. Anupriya Patel, aged 43, held the position of Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare.
Ms Patel entered the political field by winning the 2012 UP election. She is the daughter of Soney Lal Patel, a co-founder of the Apna Dal (Soneylal) party.
Smt. Patel has held different positions, from being a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly to her most recent role as Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
