Main Responsibilities
1. Quality Audits & Compliance
- Visit distributor sites and conduct DQM (Distribution Quality Management) audits.
- Perform Quality Risk Assessments and create plans to reduce risks.
- Support the onboarding of new distributors and ensure they meet Mars’ quality requirements from day one.
- Share best practices to improve quality culture across all distribution points.
2. Training and Support
- Train Sales, Distributor teams, and 3PL partners on Quality in Distribution standards.
- Assist the Market Quality Manager in rolling out QFS plans, DQM, IPM (Integrated Pest Management), and 5S systems.
3. Traceability & Recall Systems
- Implement traceability, Hold & Release, and mock recall processes.
- Continuously improve systems to ensure products can be tracked and recalled efficiently if needed.
4. Handling Quality Issues
- Investigate complaints, near misses, and nonconformities in coordination with distributors, logistics, and sales teams.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are completed on time.
- Provide analytical reports and quality insights to support decision-making.
5. Digital Tools & Reporting
- Work with digital service partners to use tools like Power BI and Power Apps.
- Track Quality KPIs, traceability status, and distributor performance.
- Share compliance updates and help organize QFS review meetings.
6. Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with teams such as Sales, Customer Care, and Supply Chain.
- Support activities related to outbound quality, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality & Food Safety (QFS) or Supply Chain.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), ISO 9001, and 5S.
- Experience in internal and external quality audits.
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Educational background:
- B.Tech / M.Sc. in Food Science & Technology or General Science.
- Certified auditor preferred (Lead Auditor for FSMS, ISO 9001/22000).
