LuLu Group’s Food Processing Plant Nears Completion in Greater Noida

Lucknow: Exciting news for farmers and the food industry! LuLu Group, a major retail giant, is gearing up to launch its massive 25,000-tonne capacity food processing unit in Greater Noida by the end of this year.

Chairman and Managing Director of LuLu Group, MA Yusuff Ali, made the announcement at GBC 4.0 on Tuesday. Spanning 20 acres, the facility will process and export fruits, vegetables, and other agricultural produce sourced directly from farmers.

Ali praised the Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, highlighting the state’s immense potential in various sectors. He recounted his positive experience with the government, specifically referring to the speedy approval process for LuLu’s upcoming shopping mall in Lucknow, the largest in North India.

“The Chief Minister told us, ‘Expedite work on your project, you won’t face any hurdles,'” Ali said, summarizing his interaction with CM Yogi in Hindi. He further added that the Lucknow mall currently provides direct employment to 5,500 individuals and indirect jobs to another 5,500.

Ali expressed his confidence in the UP government’s commitment to progress and revealed growing interest from the Middle East for potential investments in the state.
