BioNEST at CFTRI in partnership with the Coffee Quality Division of the Coffee Board of India, is organising a five day Barista Training Program called “A Bean to Brew Journey – Master the Basics of Brewing”.
Who Can Apply
- Anyone who has completed 12th standard and wants to learn professional coffee making skills can join.
- It is a non-residential, hands-on course conducted in English. Lunch and coffee will be provided everyday.
What You Will Learn
Participants will get both theory and practical training on key coffee skills:
- Espresso Basics – Learn about grind size, extraction, and tamping.
- Milk Frothing & Latte Art – Create smooth microfoam and beautiful designs.
- Customer Service – How to connect with customers and serve quality drinks.
- Coffee Knowledge – From bean origins to flavour notes.
- Equipment Care – Maintain espresso machines and grinders.
- Hygiene & Safety – Keep your workspace clean and safe.
- Certification – Receive a certificate from the Coffee Board of India.
