Roles and responsibilities

Develop external sampling plans ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Conduct routine analyses of raw materials and finished products to maintain quality standards.

Perform routine analysis of water, air, and swabs as part of the Environment Monitoring Microbiology Program.

Manage lab inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for testing materials and reagents.

Conduct shelf life analyses and analyze samples related to New Product Development (NPD).

Participate in the validation and verification of Critical Control Points (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRP).

Collaborate with the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) team to ensure adherence to food safety standards and protocols.

Develop internal sampling plans for microbiology, addressing potential risks and ensuring the integrity of the testing process.

Lead the validation and risk assessment process for new SKU introductions.

Provide support for the chemical analysis program, including method development and troubleshooting.
Requirements

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Microbiology.

Proven experience in quality control and laboratory operations.

Knowledge of microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and food safety standards.

Strong organizational skills for lab inventory management.

The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to the FSMS initiatives.
