IFF Is Hiring for an experienced Applications Technologist who specializes in dairy, fresh fermented products, and plant-based alternatives for the Culture and Dairy Enzymes Team located in Gurugram, India.
This role is key to the success of sales and application teams, as will be responsible for providing significant support through pilot plant work and analytical tasks.
As the designated point of contact for all pilot plant and lab operations, this hands-on role reports directly to the Group Application Manager for culture, enzymes, fresh fermented products, cheese, and plant-based alternatives.
The responsibilities will include supervising stock inventory, managing raw material supply, and creating reports. The main interactions will be with the Application, sales, and regional Application teams.

Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in food technology, food engineering, or related Fields. Dairy specialization is preferred.
Experience – 3–5 years’ experience in product development, and lab activities.
• Experience in fermented dairy products and cheese products.
• Experience in the production environment is also well considered.
Responsibilities
- The pilot plant will produce samples according to the provided recipes, with operations, maintenance, and proposed improvements handled independently.
- Basic microbiological and chemical analyses will be conducted on finished products, focusing on maintaining hygiene in both the pilot plant and analytical lab.
- Sensory tests will be organized and run with prepared samples while managing ingredient records, ordering supplies, and being responsible for product shipping and receiving.
- Reports and presentations will be created on trial outcomes, and support will be provided to the Application team during customer workshops and innovation days, as well as to customers during application trials.
