About the job

  • The Supervisor SQIP lead will be responsible to prepare plan and roadmap for supply quality enhancement, Licensing with QA team to resolve CAPA’s, reviewing the operational practices.
  • Identifying the areas of obstruction/quality failures and advising on system and process changes for qualitative improvement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or university degree, ideally Food Technology

Experience Required

  • 5 years in Quality Assurance/Control
  • Regulatory Affair knowledge is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilties

  • Categorizing raw materials criticality based on the nature of products.
  • Prepare plan and roadmap for supply quality enhancement
  • Travel to supplier location with QA team for plan infrastructure review
  • Work with QA team to prepare site audit report.
  • Work closely with the suppliers to close the identified gaps
  • Monitor the progress of improvement at supplier site
  • New supplier assessment through documentation and physical audits.
  • To station at supplier location in case of emergency supply situation.
  • Closely working with category lead and QA to enhance the quality related contractual terms with the suppliers.
  • Ensure suppliers follows the Herbalife quality guidelines from GMP and transportation prospective.
  • Frequent visits to supplier location to verify the implementation of improvement plan proposed by Herbalife quality team.
  • Prepare a High-Level summary of quality enhancement project.
  • Market complaint handling, analyzing the risk of quality issues, RCA (5why’s and Fish bone), CAPA and implementing same in process.
  • Conducting audits as a part of supplier risk assessment to improve the capabilities in terms of quality management system.
