Job Role
· Responsible for new product development and conducting trials to match quality, health & sensory parameters as per customer’s requirement
· Responsible for lab scale, pilot scale trials of new products & conducting shelf-life studies
· Study new products, scope of new products and develop the products according to market requirement
· Responsible for improving existing recipes, generating new product ideas and recipes, testing examining samples, writing reports, and compliance
· Responsible for application & evaluation of new ingredients (colour, flavour, starch, etc.) particular to its function
· Quality Check of Raw materials/ Finished goods
· Involved in the cost reduction through better sourcing of ingredients/ ingredient substitution
· Work with cross functional teams or project managers in developing project scope and criteria, defining the technical problem, and understanding past learning’s
· Actively contribute to share knowledge and build technical skills for self/team, by attending conferences/seminars and sharing the findings with the team
Skill Needed
· A genuine interest in science and how it is applied to food and related applications
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Self-motivated with a result – driven approach
· Strong analytical and numerical skills
