Madhya Pradesh state economic offences (EOW) on Wednesday carried out searches at five places in connection with their probe against Jayshri Gayatri Food Products Pvt Ltd.
Over 12 sites are under inspection in Bhopal and Sehore.
Officials stated that they had received a complaint from an RTI activist against Jayshri Gayatri Food Products Pvt Ltd.
The activist accused the company of using a lot of emulsifiers and other compounds in their products, among other things.
According to information, the team arrived at approximately 11 AM and concentrated on Shahpura, 10 Number Stop, and the plant in Sehore.
During the procedure, significant files and documents were taken. Rajendra Modi, Parul Modi, and Kishan Modi—the company’s directors—are being investigated.
Company authorities including the managing director and CEO did not respond to calls made by TOI for their version on the matter during previous article.
On July 24, the EOW had earlier filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the directors, alleging that they were fabricating certifications for the export of dairy products.
A wider inquiry into these claimed fraudulent activities includes the raids.
EOW officials informed that this company had been manufacturing and exporting dairy products in over 20 countries.
