Educational Details
M.Tech. In Food Process Engineering/Post Harvest Engineering/Food Technology and other relevant allied specialization with minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.0 (or 60% aggregate) at both M.tech and B.tech levels.
Desirable Qualification
Successful score in GATE examination is preferred. Prior research experience or knowledge in the field of machine design, autoCAD, CATIA, SOLIDWORK but not mandatory. Hand-on experience in handling SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR would be an additional advantage.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for applying for the award of project position shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of the case of OBC candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/PWD and Non- creamy candidates). Upper age limit shall be reckoned there of the as on the last receipt it of applications.
Desirable Experience
Essential Qualification and Experience will be as per the DST-Govt of India (ANRF) norms.
Job Description
To carry out research work related to the project and to continue Ph.D. at NIT Rourkela on the topic of this project work.
General Information
1. The period of experience in a discipline/area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications for that position.
2. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project. Selection/Joining will be cancelled in case of any suppression of information/document submitted.
3. NIT Rourkela reserves the right to fix higher criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates from those satisfying advertised Qualification and radu ment the project post. Only short- listed candidates will be informed for Online interview.
