Education
Graduation or Post graduation in Food Technology or Microbiology or Dairy Technology.
Experience
At least five to six years of experience in the food industry, with a preference for experience in shift management.
Responsibilities
Main Purpose
Supporting the delivery of high-quality QCM products and packaging
• Maintaining quality data in the MIS system
• Implementing QAS and ASHA requirements for quality auditing and analytical system health audits
• Ensuring compliance with key controls for finished goods testing and hold processes
• Collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams to achieve quality metrics
• Supporting the implementation of quality systems in the plant, NPD, and R&D trials
• Addressing key quality concerns with online QC Executives and packaging checkers
• Providing training and skill enhancement for QC Executives and associates
• Ensuring top product quality and minimizing customer complaints through rigorous online quality control checks and finished product inspections
• Implementing appropriate quality control systems and standards for processes, physical systems, and the environment.
Accountability
- Ensuring high product and packaging quality scores in Green Wall
- Monitoring product quality through CQA and trade quality with PQMD score
- Decreasing consumer complaints and improving QAS score
- Meeting QM pillar KPIs and IPS audit score
- Ensuring compliance with the training calendar and Snacks global 3-D scorecard
- Managing cost of poor quality and ensuring compliance with quality systems on all production lines
- Collaborating with QC Executives and packaging quality checkers to meet PepsiCo Q&FS standards
- Overseeing potato and corn quality management with the Agro team to minimize rejection rates
- Addressing consumer and customer complaints through CAPA implementation
- Implementing QAS improvements annually and coordinating with R&D for new product launches
- Maintaining safety standards within work zones and conducting in-market checks for quality improvement Supporting food safety compliance efforts and training QC team members
- Analyzing rejections to reduce costs of poor quality and ensuring compliance in audits.
Required Skills
Experience with food safety and ISO systems is required.
Familiarity with FSSAI, HACCP, AIB, and TPM is preferred.
Certification as an internal auditor is a plus.
Strong team management, communication, and collaboration skills are necessary.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is essential. Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
