Job Description:
As a New Product Development Executive Job, you will play a crucial role in our product innovation process.
This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate with a Master’s in Food Science (MSc) or a
Bachelor’s in Food Science (BTech). You will develop new food products from concept to
commercialization. The role requires a proactive individual who is ready to travel up to 25% of the time
to our manufacturing facilities for pilot runs and commercial production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and formulation of new food products.
• Conduct research on market trends and consumer preferences to identify new product
opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Sales.
• Provide technical information and product specifications to the marketing team to support
promotional activities.
• Support the pilot production process and scale-up of new products.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during product development and manufacturing.
• Ensure that all new products comply with food safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on product development progress.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities for pilot runs and commercial production, as required.
Qualifications:
• MSc in Food Science or BTech in Food Science.
• Strong interest in new product development and food innovation.
• Basic understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
