NIFTEM 2 Weeks free workshop on Modern Packaging & Quality analytical instruments for safe food supply

National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur (NIFTEM-T) organized 2 weeks Workshop on Modern Packaging Technologies, Smart warehouse Practices, and Hi-Tech Quality Analytical Instruments for Safe Food Supply. Visit to the packing industry/warehouse/startup is also included by the organizers. This program is sponsored by ATAL and AICTE.

Educational Qualification

The faculty members (Assistant Professors/Associate Professors) of the AICTE-approved institutions, Ph.D. scholars, PG Students, participants from the Government, Industry Bureaucrats/Technicians/Professionals/School Teachers, and staff of host institutions nominated by the college Principal/ Director.

Accommodation & Travel

The maximum 50 participants’ cost of traveling and boarding/lodging, if he/she wishes to attend ATAL FDP, is bearable. However, refreshments & lunch would be provided for free.

Accommodation will be provided in the institute trainee hostel on sharing and payment basis as per the availability of rooms. Accommodation can also be booked in nearby hotels directly or through prior information to organizers on a payment basis.

• FSSAI/EU/CODEX standards for packaging & labeling
• Testing of Packaging materials
• Safe storage guidelines identification of storage pests
• Management of storage pests
• Design of storage structures/ cold storage unit
• Detection of pesticides and quality analysis
• Hands-on training on testing of packaging materials, insect traps, sensors UHPLC, ICP-OES, GC-MS, HPLC, DSC and others
