Key Responsibility

1. For Chemist

• Manage food chemistry testing laboratory and analysis of samples by HPL
• Follow proper operating procedures to prepare and analyze food samples.
• Conduct research and analyze the chemistry of ingredients to develop and improve foods and beverages.
• Bench chemistry, as well as instrumentation, is used to fulfill the testing requirements.
•  The position are focused on ensuring that the different products being tested pass the specifications put in place by the FDA/FSSAI
• Develop standardization and calibration procedures for basic equipment for manufacturing quality testing.
•  Provide calculated electronic absorption (UV/Vis) spectra for molecular candidates suspect to be impurity chromophores in a commercial nylon process.
•  Train chemists on the operation of GC-MS-MS, ICPMS, LCMS
• Utilize GC-MS, FID, FT-IR, and ChemDraw to accurately analyze synthesis progress on reactions.
• Analyze incoming projects to provide identification data such as FT-IR for certification purposes.

2. For Lab In-charge

• Manage food chemistry testing laboratory and Work Experience in the operation of LCMS, ICPMS, HPLC, GC-MS-MS & other instruments.
• Follow proper operating procedures to prepare and analyze food samples.
• Conduct research and analyze the chemistry of ingredients to develop and improve foods and beverages.
• Bench chemistry, as well as instrumentation, is used to fulfill the testing requirements
•  The position is focused on ensuring that the different products being tested pass the specifications put in place by the FDA, USFDA, FSSAI
•  Develop standardization and calibration procedures for equipment & implementation of Quality management system,
• Utilize GC-MS-MS, FID, FT-IR, ChemDraw, LCMS, etc.
• Analyze incoming projects to provide identification data such as FT-IR for certification purposes.
•  Scheduling staff.
• Ordering supplies.
• Managing the disposal of samples.
• Training lab assistants.
• Upholding health and safety protocols.
• Handling security documents.
• Maintaining specialized software.
• Excellent managerial skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Expert knowledge of laboratory health and safety protocols.
•  Experience working in a lab would be advantageous.
