To keep the city clean during the event, Coca-Cola India, its foundation Anandana, and bottling partner Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) have started a campaign called Used PET Bottle-Free Ratha Yatra 2025. This is being done in partnership with the Puri Municipality, District Administration, Odisha Development Management Programme (ODMP), and the Y4D Foundation.
This effort is part of a bigger cleanliness program called Maidan Saaf. More than 180 trained volunteers will take part in cleaning up beaches, running awareness drives, and encouraging people to throw bottles in the right place. Around 200 PET bottle collection bins will be placed in crowded areas of Puri to help manage plastic waste better.
