Position Details

Role: Food Safety & Quality Associate

Location: Solapur, Maharashtra (On-Site)

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Candidates must demonstrate:

  • In-depth understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene standards
  • Competency in supervising daily quality control and packaging operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team coordination skills with production and sanitation units
  • A proactive, ownership-driven approach to quality and food safety

Key Responsibilities

  1. Food Safety Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and ISO 22000 standards
  • Conduct routine hygiene inspections and sanitation audits
  • Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) across processing stages
  1. Packaging Oversight
  • Supervise proper labeling, sealing, and coding procedures
  • Inspect the quality and integrity of packaging materials
  • Oversee storage and post-packaging handling
  1. Quality Control
  • Inspect incoming raw fruits and vegetables
  • Monitor processing quality indicators (texture, moisture, color)
  • Maintain detailed records for traceability and handle customer complaints
  1. Documentation & Reporting
  • Update daily sanitation, temperature, and process logs
  • Coordinate for internal and external audits
  • Train production workers on hygiene and quality protocols

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Microbiology, Agriculture
  • B.Tech in Food Process Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a food processing or F&V (Fruits & Vegetables) processing facility

Required Skill Sets

  • Familiarity with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000 certifications
  • Knowledge of food processing equipment and packaging lines
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Effective communication and team coordination
  • Proficient in computer tools for reporting and audits
